Seniors Autumn Open - LOTS take the spoils!

In unusually balmy October weather the Seniors Autumn Open was held at Hockley on Monday 24th October. As to be expected, the wind increased in intensity when players reached the top of the course - but despite this, players from Lee-on-the-Solent took the spoils on countback in both the scratch and nett competitions.

In the scratch event Dave Edmunds (LOTS) - a regular County Seniors player, triumphed on a back 9 hole countback from Andy Bow (Stoneham) - both on 36 points, closely followed by Alan Mew (Stoneham) and Andy Palmer (Basingstoke) on 35 points.
