Ryan Henley becomes the County Champion for the 4th time at Hockley GC after a warm three days on the downland course near Winchester.
An unbelievably good standard of golf across all the matches on an exciting day saw Ryan beat Martin Young in a quality semi final- shaking hands on the 16th green after a barrage of birdies on the back 9.
In the other semi final Darren Walkley pipped Charlie Forster in a tight match that continued to the 17th green.
The final was another birdie fest, with Ryan taking the lead after 4 holes and accelerating to a 3 up lead through the turn. Despite a hearty attempt at a come back from Darren, Ryan held firm with 3 birdies in 5 holes to close the final out 4&3.
