Joe Buenfeld, Stoneham GC, with his trio of trophies- the Team Champions, County Champion and Strokeplay Winner
Congratulations to Stoneham's Joe Buenfeld on successfully defending his County Championship title by defeating Jack Warren, also from Stoneham, in a high quality final.
Joe became the first player in 46 years to win back to back County Champs and one of only a few who has gone wire to wire in winning the strokeplay and matchplay elements of the Championship weekend, Buenfeld topped off a victorious weekend by also being part of the winning team in our team championships and will have the opportunity to go on to represent Stoneham at the England Golf Team Champs in September.
