Charlie Forster compiled 4 of the finest strokeplay rounds you could wish to see in the already well renowned Peter Alliss Memorial, this year played at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club.
Charlie has been knocking on the door so far this year, playing some brilliant golf- a 3rd place finish at the Berkshire Trophy, a close loss in the Semi Finals of the County Championships and a near perfect match play record in the South East League have all helped to keep his form in check.
In the event this week, Charlie strung together rounds of 69,68,68 and 65 and pipped his nearest competitor by 2 shots in one of Surrey Golf's Major Strokplay events. The final leaderboard can be seen by clickinghere.
Charlie can now turn his attention to the 6 Man Team qualifier which also takes place on Surrey ground next weekend.
